The Future Of Web Apps

Yes! The future. It’s here, or will be soon…apparently.
Yesterday Stef and I did our little talk about MOO at the Future of Web Apps conference, talking mainly about the Past and Present of Printing Apps, Packaging Apps and Postage Apps. Hurrah.
There were some other superb presentations from Simon Willison on OpenID, Rasmus Lerdorf on PHP, Kevin Rose from digg and an exciting announcement from Tariq Krim on Netvibes’ move towards cross-platform widget compatability – which you can read more about here on Techcrunch.
Despite the all-too-common WiFi problems at these sorts of events, what the FOWA lacked in connectivity it more than made up for in exciting ideas, passionate entrepreneurs and free sandwiches.

Thought your talk was one of the highlights of the conference. Not only interesting but the passion you guys have for Moo and what you do was really great to see.
Plus great to see a presentation without bullets. A bit like your product, funky.
Hi Richard, I downloaded your talk and slides from the fowa2007 website. The presentation was great and insightful. Do you mind me asking what font did you use for the slides? They look great.
