Let the judging begin!
December 2009, by Simon G | 7 Comments – latest by EmmaIt’s time to put down that sticky glue-gun, fasten the lids on your favourite pot of glitter and tidy away the beads, buttons and bows – the MOO MiniGift Box Competition is over.
Thank you to everyone who took part, but the deadline for the competition has now passed and the judges are forming their opinions on the finalists, ready to give the results in January 2010.
In case you’d forgotten (or perhaps didn’t know) the competition is being judged by MOO’s very own Product Designer (Paul) and Creative Director (Denise) along with Michael Craig – Design Director at Etsy.

Happy Holidays from MOO!

It’s been great hearing all your cries of delight recently, as your poor postmen and women have struggled with packages through the snowy weather!
Hope those of you who have time off over the festive season get everything you wish for, and those who are working have more fun than you might be expecting. Holiday Shipping and Printing Dates
December 2009, by Dan | 2 Comments – latest by DeniseWell, the last order dates for the holidays have passed, and Santa’s final sacks of festive MOOs are filling up fast. We’re still taking new orders though, and we’ll be shipping them out as fast as we can – so don’t hesitate to order thank you cards for all your lovely pressies!
Just so you know, here’s our warehouse and customer service closure dates over the holiday season.
Thursday 24th December – LIMITED HOURS: we’ll be shipping orders in the morning, but going home in the afternoon to wrap presents.
Friday 25th December – CLOSED : we’ll be at home feasting on mince pies and turkey.

Stores like Etsy, Dwanda, Glimpse Online, Folksy and more, all sell work from talented crafters, while crafting communities like Ravelry are full of people quite literally doin’ it for themselves. The current economy means there’s less money to spend on gifts this year too, and now more than ever people feel the need to give gifts that really count.

Please note: US office closed for Thanksgiving!
November 2009, by Dan | 1 Comment – latest by missyIf you are planning to place an order on the US site this week, please be aware that our Rhode Island office is closed for Thanksgiving and Black Friday (26th November and 27th November).
You’ll still be able to place orders online of course, but there will be a little delay in shipping. Our US CS team will also be taking a four day weekend, so if you contact customer service please be extra patient – we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. (In fact, our UK CS reps will be helping out while the US takes a break.)
Orders placed on the UK site, for Europe and the rest of the world will be unaffected.
