MOO and SmugMug: A Double Yay for Saturday!
Over the past year, we’ve been lucky enough to meet a lot of you in person at professional photography events such as WPPi, Focus On Imaging, Photoplus Expo etc. More than a few of you asked us “When is MOO going to team up with SmugMug?” Luckily, the SmugMug team was also there and we all agreed it was a perfect match. Thanks for the introduction!
Fastforward a few months and today, we’re excited to announce that you can now make all MOO Products – Business Cards, MiniCards, Postcards and Greeting Cards – using your SmugMug photos.
As a SmugMug user, it’s easy. You can start making MOO products immediately. Here’s how:
- pick a product on MOO
- click SmugMug as the source of your images
- authorize MOO to access your SmugMug account
- automagically your photos are pulled in to MOO
- start creating your MOO product.
Or on SmugMug you can:
- access MOO by clicking the Buy button on your SmugMug gallery
- click on Business Cards under Other Services in the drop-down menu
- you will be directed to MOO + SmugMug page which features the entire range of products
- select a product
- authorize MOO to access your public SmugMug photos
- automagically we’ll pull in your photos
- start creating your MOO product.
At the moment, we can only print photos which are not password protected. So, be sure to make all photos you want to print public and leave them in that state until we’re finished printing. There’s even more details listed on SmugMug’s release notes.

@Michelle While there aren’t any SmugMug discounts for an existing SmugMug user on SmugMug, I would encourage you to view your SmugMug account for a special offer for you on MOO. I believe they have announced on their blog.
Hooray! I have been using Smugmug for about 5 years, and it’s amazing. I’m so glad you guys have teamed up. Now, all we need is Stickerbooks in your USA store so we don’t have to wait so long for them to come from the UK :)
