It’s been all go at MOO HQ in the first few weeks of January. First we kicked off our brand new API, followed by a Beta release of the new MOO card gallery, and as of the start of this week, we’ve moved into a brand new shiny office!
So what’s next? Well, we wanted to address a request we’ve been getting from you for quite a while now, so we’re proud to announce the launch of the brand new and improved MOO Postcards!
You asked, we answered
That’s right! From today, you can upload a full PDF design to the back of your Postcards. Now your Postcards can be as unique as you are. Yay!
Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to design Postcards in the traditional format, as before. But what we love about the new double-sided feature is that the humble postcard can now be pretty much anything you want it to be. So if you want to do a short print run of event flyers or invites, or some discount vouchers or gift certificates for a particular product – well, the sky’s the limit.
We’d love to see what you come up with, so if you’re planning on designing some double sided postcards, please do upload them to Flickr or our Facebook page, or leave us links in the comments section below.
And if you want to know more about how it works, check out this screencast made by MOO’s own Martin Stocks, our product manager. You’ll see, it’s easy.
PS As always, we want to hear what you think. So please leave your comments here.
Don't miss out on special offers and discounts that we share with our subscribers!

Love Love Love!! This is the best way to print wedding invites now. Not only are they economical but high quality. Also, another idea for these are fans for out door weddings. You can print a pic one side and your wedding schedule on the other and then staple a popsicle stick. Now your guests have unique fans for out door summer weddings! Thank you so much MOO!
I love the way you think. Sending you a virtual cowbell of ‘thumbs up.’
I last time I checked I wasn’t able to insert my own logo. This version looks promising. I can’t wait to try it out!
Great! I was considering postcards until I found out I couldn’t customise the back of the postcard – now there’s no holding back!
Yay! Finally.
Only to bad I just ordered a bunch. But it’s good for the next time!
Yay! This is good news.
Well done Moo! However, I still have a problem with the stock. Usually postcard paper is coated only on one side. There’s a reason for that: writing and ink. I write with rollers, pigment liners, fountain pens and the ink never dries on Moo postcards. No, I don’t want to have to choose a special pen to write them!
I guess my rant is obsolete because you now need coated paper to print on both sides. But you are changing the user experience of the postcard. Are Moo postcards becoming flyers?
Hey Moo Gang! I LOVE your stuff! I just ordered some of the Seth Godin biz cards and can’t wait for them to arrive.
Also, thought I’d let you know that I blogged about you to my nonprofit clients. There are so many ways they can use your products to connect with supporters.

Hi – love all that you do at Moo and regularly buy our business cards and postcards from you. With the new postcard features, is it possible to create postcards to match our mini business cards which we created using our name – Gingerlilly and the style options available in the mini card section? Last time I tried this didn’t seem possible so I used a standard design to create the postcards from the Hello range. Thanks for assistance. Gingerlilly Contemporary Jewellery
Manny Kagan showed me his cards with his photos. Would like to do the same. How do we get together?
@ep. That’s great feedback. We’re constantly looking at new paper stocks and how people use our products. Later this year we may have an answer to your wishes.
@Gretta The new postcard functionality is very similar to MiniCards. So, I believe you will be able to design them to match your MiniCards. Let us know if we don’t answer your question.
