One way to make your designs and Business Cards stand out is a “less is more” approach that some of our creative customers have used to market their personal brand. As usual, these examples merely the tip of your creative iceberg – but here are a few that caught our eye.
Brand new customer Nate Imhoff chose to, in his own words “keep my collateral simple” with these clean, stark cards. Nate explains “I believe good design is good business, and giving my collateral too much personality could detract from my work, which I want to speak for itself.” We think you’ll agree, he gets his message across very well!
In a proactive response to a blog on minimal business cards, creative logo designer Graham Smith was inspired to create his own. “The motivation [in the blog] was to create mostly blank cards ..leaving the giver to jot a custom note or allowing the recipient to do it themselves.” Graham tells us. Finding this a much needed “personal marketing” twist on the often generic action of exchanging details, he created self style “Business Note Cards” with plenty of versatile blank space – on our green stock for ease of scribbling, of course.
Graphic designer and design author David Airey, also made some really simple cards out of our recycled green stock, and you can see the results below. “The uncoated stock is ideal for writing on” he says “Whether it’s the time and date of a meeting, an address, or a simple “thank you” note.”
The design is so deliciously minimal there’s very little to say about them except that we’re metaphorically pressing a virtual “like” button over and over. Beautiful, eye catching and simultaneously sparse and restrained, these daring red Business Cards help designer Jakob Eriksson say a lot.
We’ve thought about it, and we feel pretty safe to say that in all the years we’ve offered Printfinity, we’ve never seen anything quite like this! Graphic designer Dylan Upper created a “flip book” with his cards, and then rather helpfully made a video of it in motion.
