If you’ve been following this blog for a while or met any of us in person, you probably know we’re passionate about great design. That’s why we take great care and effort designing products, packaging and even our website to ensure anyone can easily create beautiful, well-designed cards and stickers. And just last month we introduced Luxe, a new kind of MOO. Luxe Business Cards are our most premium product and triple the thickness of most standard business cards. So then we thought remarkable quality cards deserve remarkable designs and, with that, The Luxe Project was born.
We were super excited to show you Luxe Business Cards and now we’re even more excited to tell you about our new design initiative, The Luxe Project: Great design can change the world.
What is The Luxe Project?
For a full year, we’ll be partnering with well-known designers and illustrators to offer exclusive Luxe Business Cards designs. These limited-edition designs will be available for one month only, with a new collection debuting each month throughout 2012. Even better? 100% of all net proceeds will be donated to the designer’s charity of choice. We truly do believe great design can change the world.
Ooh, who’s the first designer?
To kick off The Luxe Project, we teamed up with super amazing designer, Michael Osborne-of Kettle Chips and USPS LOVE stamps fame. And what good timing too! In honor of Valentine’s Day, Michael has created a collection of cards based on Love and Hearts.

All net proceeds from the sales of these two packs with benefit Michael’s charity, Joey’s Corner, a non-profit design studio founded in 2004 to honor the memory of his son. Its mission is to provide pro-bono, professional design services to nonprofit organizations focused on solving healthcare, children’s and social well-being issues.
Here’s what Michael had to say, “February is the perfect month and Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday for me to be working on The Luxe Project. The heart shape is a global symbol of love, peace and happiness, and I think the theme of love on the back of a business card is very cool and can be used year round. Joey’s Corner is named after my deceased son Joseph Osborne, whose birthday is February 13th, making my given design theme of Valentine’s Day and love that much more special to me.”
Welcome, Michael! We’re so happy to have you on board.

Michael’s designs will be available on Luxe Business Cards only, now through March 2012. Check out his two beautiful packs, Work of Hearts and Card of Hearts. 100% of all net proceeds from the sales of these two packs will benefit Joey’s Corner. All donations will be made to Joey’s Corner in April 2012.
I love these designs, but I don’t quite understand the project… can you buy a pack of Michael’s cards to use as a set of playing cards… or just to keep as a lovely work of art?
Or do you pay to have a set of your own business cards with your details, and Michael’s designs?
Hi Erica- Great question! They can be used as a lovely work of art, or you can customize the details side with your own information and have a beautiful set of business cards with Michael’s designs. Does that make sense?
Lovely Business cards. You can also say them as love cards which can be gifted on valentines day or to your close friends. Would try them once sooner
hello, i realy love your designs….!!! its aawsome.. at the same time can i have this kind of cards designed by you as favour of the customer.. or we are supposed to choose only from the exsisting designs??? thank you…!!
I’d like to offer my designs. Do you take submissions?
Thanks!
The cards are all beautiful! Is there any way I can submit our charity for consideration?
