MOO and you at SXSW

SXSW… it’s been a whirlwind, a hurricane… literally, a hurricane; the MOO Crew wondered if perhaps we brought the London rain over on the plane with us as the first 2.5 days of SXSW were pouring nonstop. We didn’t let the weather dampen our spirits (pun intended) – we’ve had an absolutely amazing time meeting customers at the MOO.COM Order Pick Up tent!
We’ve been camping out at Squarespace’s food truck since Friday, chatting with MOO customers who have come in to collect their order, giving out snazzy limited edition t-shirts, along with Stickers, Postcards, sample packs, and lots of MOO love! We’ve had so much fun getting to see customers open their orders, and people have been especially excited about receiving their new Luxe Business Cards.
We thought Damien’s cards that show off the bobblehead his girlfriend made of him were great.
We did of course check out some of the action outside of our tent – everywhere you looked was a different cool bus! The Startup Bus drove across America with people starting up companies inside:
The CanWeNetwork bus was a nonstop networking party, with DJs and celebs like Kevin Smith:
The HootSuite bus… well, how could you not smile when seeing this:
There were also some very random characters walking past, like the Bread guys and FedEx charging man:
Phew! And we’re not even done yet – if you placed an order to collect at SXSW, the MOO Crew will be at E 5th & Neches from 9:30am-2pm until Tuesday the 13th. Please come by before Miko and Lisa get lost in an avalanche of Business Card boxes.
When we wrap up, our lovely staff Paula is using a sticky name tag to advertise that she’s looking for new work.
And all good things don’t have to come to an end just yet, Squarespace’s food truck will be going strong until the 17th. Come by and pick up some free grub!
Wow SXSW looks like so much fun! I’d love to have gone, not least to have offloaded my 300+ old business cards that are now useless to me!
