I had a peculiar dream one night, where a bunch of little fluffy white bunnies were following me around. They didn’t do much, as bunnies do, they just looked up at me with their black peppercorn eyes and hopped after me where ever I went. I could never figure out what they wanted, if they were evil spy bunnies or just some cute company to make me feel less lonely?
When I woke up in the morning I kind of missed them, somehow I quite enjoyed their presence. So I thought that it would be nice to make some bunny stickers and place them around the office. They appear in odd places, where you least expect them to be, inside a cupboard holding an umbrella or in the stairwell having a cup of tea. I have always liked the idea of hiding images or messages in plain sight, around everyday objects, so when your eyes start to wander you will be surprised to suddenly see a bunny watching you from the corner of the room, with a camera around its neck.
Everyone at MOO has been excited about the new additions to the team, though I think Jon may have got more than he bargained for… “I thought I was signing up for marketing but now it seems I’ve been roped in to animal control!” says Jon.

The sticker on the painted brickwork doesn’t seem to have any square edges. Is it on a transparent background or can you cut the shapes of the bunnies out in the printing process? Could the red bunny be a bit of Photoshop trickery? The slight amount of transparency on the red bunny through to the brickwork underneath looks a bit suspect. Don’t get me wrong – I really like it and its given me an idea about how to use a similar technique for a treasure hunt but if what I suspect is true, it would be nice to see a post of a few photos of the actual stickers complete with their square-edged borders.
I’d also be keen to see if the glue used on the stickers holds up when stuck onto different surfaces like the painted brickwork. From experience, I know stickers have a habit of either falling straight off (post-it note style) or otherwise welding themselves on for ever. In the case of the latter, only nail varnish remover can get rid of the sticky mess left over once the paper has been picked off.
Loved my recent order of minicards for our CityCamp. Here’s the tweet + photo:

Did you print and dicut on vinyl? or print and hand-cut?
Hi David,
Jovanna used a special type of vinyl and a special plotter machine. Unfortunately, these aren’t services that we offer right now at MOO. If you’d like to test out our stickers, you can order a sample pack from our website: http://www.moo.com/products/rectangular-stickers.html by clicking on the section ‘Order a free sample pack’. Thanks, Jon (moo.com).
