The MOO Shop has been officially open for about a week and we are very pleased to be meeting MOO Customers (old and new). For those who haven’t been able to visit, let us introduce ourselves. We’re the MOO Shop team: Georgi, Lauren and Charlotte. Good to meet you!
The MOO Shop is already proving to be a hive of activity with customer collections, connections and inspiration being shared. Our sample wall has proved to be very popular. As the ‘try before you buy’ section of the Shop, it gives customers a chance to get an idea for how our different paper stocks actually feel, whilst checking out some …Continue reading this article…
We love discovering new businesses that you guys have got kicked-off and love it when your creative use of MOO Products has been some small part of a success story. That really is the icing on the cake. (CAKE! Did someone say cake?)
So when we decided that we wanted to open a shop, pretty much the first thing (after deciding that there were going to be cookies) was to ensure that you, our customers, and your businesses took pride of place.
According to staff accounts it was a very (we repeat, very!) cold morning when Daniel arrived at the US MOO office. He was then quickly scooped up by Steve and Paul (visting from the UK) and given a tour of the warehouse. This went down a treat as he was shown the physical creation of many MOO Products including our Luxe Cards.
Soon after, Daniel spent some time with MOO CEO, Richard Moross (where we can only assume they discussed the amazing cake waiting outside).…Continue reading this article…
We wanted to start off the year with a good one, and luckily, inspiration came to our very doorstep. At the end of December, we got a visit from our UK MOO Award winners, ColaLife – you can read all about their trip to MOO HQ here, and their brilliant business here.
Aside from their business and their brilliant presentation, we were also hugely impressed with their Business Cards. As you can see above, they used Printfinity to create 5 Business Cards that present their business – from start to finish. Simon …Continue reading this article…
When we invited our UK MOO Award winners Simon Berry (along with his wife and business partner Jane) from ColaLife to have lunch with us at MOO HQ, we didn’t plan for them to walk in halfway through dessert – but sadly, a combination of late trains and a Twitter meltdown meant that we didn’t get to have the long lunch followed by their presentation, as we’d planned.
However, this didn’t deter Simon and Jane, who had a quick bite as they prepared to talk to MOO about their own, rather more personal long journey – from the conception of the ColaLife idea, to its current …Continue reading this article…
Given that it’s small business week, we recently decided to pose a simple question on the MOO Facebook page – what was the best piece of business advice you’d ever heard? The response was absolutely outstanding with over 300 of you sharing your thoughts and suggestions.
Having gone through them all, we’ve decided that we should offer up a prize to Sandrine Cousette Franchet, who shared the following piece of advice:
Of course, with so many entries, we couldn’t go without mentioning a few other fantastic pieces of advice that were entered, and a big thank you to everyone who took the …Continue reading this article…
A New Service for Companies with 10+ Employees
In recent weeks we have announced Rounded Corner Business Cards, MOO Business Card Designs and a Small Business Starter Kit in honor of US Small Business Week. If you hadn’t already guessed from the title (clever, aren’t we?), it’s National Small Business Week in the US. Many of our customers are freelancers or small businesses, and this week it’s all about you. We’ve met loads of cool and interesting small businesses over the past five years; businesses that made us think “Wow! Why hadn’t I thought of that?” Like Santa Barbara Silver Safari who rent vintage airstream trailers in California or Touchcloud who offers a green alternative to server hosting. How cool!
So what is National Small Business Week?
Small Business Week recognizes the contributions of small businesses in America. This year more …Continue reading this article…
Well, that was a deliciously hot weekend in the UK, wasn’t it? For once it almost makes you feel smug you didn’t decide to leave the country over the Easter weekend!
And if you’re not going abroad, all you really need is a lovely country cottage to relax in with friends or family. This is why our ears pricked up when we recently came across Sarah, owner of Devon based Sherborne Cottages, via our Facebook page. Sarah makes these adorable and effective MiniCard holder keyrings for her clients to get across a variety of messages, offers and useful information.
Well, we knew it wouldn’t take you long to grab our new double-sided Postcards and put your personal stamp all over it – and we weren’t disappointed. Over the last few months, we’ve been watching Flickr with a hawk-eye for anything extraordinary, and as you can see, we were spoilt for choice.
Stylish photographer Kylie Clarke Photography has taken full advantage of being able to upload pdfs to both sides of the Postcard, by branding both sides of her promo Postcards with her arresting images, plus contact details.
