More about us, more about you
Last month, you helped us kick off 2013 with our 5 Card Pitch competition, which was great fun. Why stop there, we asked ourselves. It’s been a while since we asked you to show us your creativity and carry out some rebranding in a celebrity themed competition. So who better to undergo a MOO makeover than the Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra (a.k.a CEO of Nile Enterprises).
We like to think that if MOO had been around a few thousand years ago, Cleo would have been a MOO fan. After all, she was a powerful (business) woman, and might have used Round Stickers to seal her papyrus …Continue reading this article…

According to staff accounts it was a very (we repeat, very!) cold morning when Daniel arrived at the US MOO office. He was then quickly scooped up by Steve and Paul (visting from the UK) and given a tour of the warehouse. This went down a treat as he was shown the physical creation of many MOO Products including our Luxe Cards.
Soon after, Daniel spent some time with MOO CEO, Richard Moross (where we can only assume they discussed the amazing cake waiting outside).…Continue reading this article…
Pour la version française, c’est par ici.
You may remember, at the end of last year we began a limited trial run of NFC Business Cards. Anybody who purchased a pack of Business Cards from us would get a complimentary NFC enabled Business Card with a preview of your cards pre-written to it. These have proved to be extremely popular with you as a peek into our future, and as a way to get your minds whirring about the possibilities of Business Cards, technology and what a “third side” of a card could be.
While a full production version of NFC Business Cards from MOO are a little way away, we have …Continue reading this article…
Just like a moody (but still lovable) teenager, MOO is going through some important changes. We’re growing, and our international customers are growing with us.
To show them we care, we’ll be writing some blog posts in the language of love, wine and cheese. (We mean French, in case the clichés aren’t obvious.)

We wanted to get 2013 off to a flying start – so to help us get rid of those pesky January blues, we invited you to explain your business idea on 5 business cards. We didn’t have to look far for inspiration – which basically means we pinched (or should we say “borrowed”?) the idea from our UK MOO Award winners ColaLife, who used their MOO cards as a brilliant pitching tool.
We’ve been very impressed with all the great entries, and we had a really tough task in judging. After much debating, we can finally reveal that our winner is *drum roll* Natalie McNichols from Visual Appetite, whose cards look good enough to …Continue reading this article…
Last year MOO had a blast at SXSW, meeting the hundreds of people who chose to collect MOO Business Cards and other products from our little tent by the convention center. After hearing about how much people loved being able to come get their cards in person (with carry on bag policies these days, every little ounce counts!), it was a no brainer for us to offer the same service again. This time, MOO will be hanging out at the Hackney House on 6th street, which is a house set up by the council in London that MOO HQ is located in. They’re bringing a bunch of Hackney based companies to Austin for SXSW Interactive, so …Continue reading this article…
For our latest set of Business Card designs, which we’ve aptly named Bit and Pieces, there was a fair amount of destruction that had to occur before any creation took place. I’m always interested by the way things work, or why things are the way they are, take, for example, the ever-present mobile phone.
The mystery – a bit like invisible magic – inside products really fascinates me. When I was about to throw away a few broken old mobile phones that had accumulated over the years, it struck me that …Continue reading this article…
Calling all MOO friends and fanatics! MOO will be present at SXSW Interactive in Austin next month, and we need some part-time help. We’re a friendly team at MOO, passionate about the products we make, and the way we make them. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion and are ready to pitch in. If the thought of talking to people about MOO and watching their eyes light up as you give them their order, this is the job for you.
Applicants must be in Austin during SXSW Interactive (March 8th-12th) and must be able to work all days between Friday, March 8th, 2013 to Tuesday, March 12th 2013, from 9:30AM – 2:30PM.
I’m free those dates! What will I be …Continue reading this article…
We wanted to start off the year with a good one, and luckily, inspiration came to our very doorstep. At the end of December, we got a visit from our UK MOO Award winners, ColaLife – you can read all about their trip to MOO HQ here, and their brilliant business here.
Aside from their business and their brilliant presentation, we were also hugely impressed with their Business Cards. As you can see above, they used Printfinity to create 5 Business Cards that present their business – from start to finish. Simon …Continue reading this article…
