About the designer preview

John Baskerville is probably best known as a typographer, working in the 18th Century. The font used in this design is similar to the kind of typefaces he’d have worked with, and has been chosen to form a bridge between antique English design and more modern styles. It has an old fashioned look to it but the alignments and floral elements create a nice mix.
