Pino Tovaglia was one of Milan’s top graphic designers in the 1960s. I was inspired by his 1964 advertising campaign for Pirelli tyres to go for big bold typography, with a classic stylish 1960s feel.

Jonathan Howells is a senior designer and illustrator with over 20 years experience. He is the Creative Director of multi-disciplinary design office Dinnick & Howells, whose past clients include Levi Strauss, Glaxo Smith Kline and Lindt Chocolate.
