Armed with a silly name unfit for international exposure and creative <br /> powers bought from a Russian mail order catalogue, Bard Hole Standal is a Norwegian designer and illustrator whose work has been featured in numerous design books, exhibitions, festivals and other creative projects around the world. <br /> Before all that though, he fought polar bears professionally in Norway for 20<br /> years, and decided to move to London to extend his knowledge of this <br /> field. After three years in that (apparently) bear-less city, he now <br /> holds a fancy Bachelor of Honors degree in design and illustration from the<br /> London College of Communication.<br /> Bard currently lives in Oslo where he works as an art director by day and an illustration maniac by night.
