Held at the Science Museum, London during September 2000, 'Energy Balloons' was an event run for the British Association's 'Creating Sparks' festival. The event encouraged visitors to make pledges to help reduce the impact of their energy use. Visitors chose from a list of pledges (eg turning off a light when leaving a room) and blew up the number of balloons-worth of carbon dioxide they would save in fulfilling that pledge.
