1. How to Enter
1.1 You can enter the MOO Egg Hunt by finding an 'egg'. The eggs will be inserted randomly into MOO products, hidden within pages on www.moo.com, its participating partner sites, other online locations or placed in 'Great Outdoors' locations. An 'egg' comes in the following forms:
  • 'Eggs' in MOO products will come in the form of a MOO MiniCard:

  • 'Eggs' on MOO.com and other sites will be small graphics of a 'masked egg' and will feature the code visually within the image – They look like this;

1.2 Only eggs hidden by MOO, its partners and selected hiders will be valid for the Egg Hunt. If you discover an egg that has been hidden without our knowledge this will not count! If you attempt to claim a 'bad egg' (i.e. an invalid egg) and do not receive a confirmation email, then that entry has not been counted.
1.3 To enter, you must enter the relevant details into the form provided at www.moo.com/egghunt You will always be asked for your name and/or MOO username, and a valid email address. We will not pass this email on to third parties, or send you spam. It makes us mad as anything when people do it to us, so we wouldn't even think about doing it to you.
  • For eggs found in MOO products, you will need to include the code written on the egg
  • For online eggs, you will need to include the code on the egg and the url where you found the egg
  • For the eggs found in the Great Outdoors, you need to tell us the country where you found the egg, a description of the location and upload a close up picture (photograph) of you with the egg. It will need to be sent to us digitally. Here is an example of a valid photo, sportingly modelled by MOO crewster Iain:

1.3.1 If you find a 'Great Outdoors' egg location, and the egg is no longer there, MOO will, at their discretion, still accept your entry if you are able to submit a photo of you at the exact spot where the egg had originally been placed. MOO's decision whether to accept each entry is final.
1.3.2 By entering your information into the form on moo.com/egghunt you are allowing MOO to use your name (not e-mail address) to announce you as a successful prize winner on the MOO blog or on our partner sites.
1.3.3 By entering into the 'Great Outdoors' hunt and by providing the necessary photo to enter, you are allowing MOO to use the photo on the MOO.com website or on a partner site or blog (eg. Flickr)
1.4 Upon receipt of your entry, you will receive an email confirming your entry, along with instructions on how and when you will find out if you are a winner. Good Luck :-)
1.5 For all eggs found online or in the 'Great Outdoors', the first correct entrant will win a prize. Nine other valid entries will be picked at random to receive a prize associated with that egg. All valid entries will also be added to the prize draw.
1.6 If you have won a prize, we will contact you by email to let you know what you have won, and how you can redeem that prize. Therefore, if you do not supply a valid e-mail address you will not be eligible to win a prize.

2. Competition and Egg timings
2.1 The competition opens on 03 March 08 at 12:00pm GMT and closes on 14 April 08 11.59pm GMT
2.2 The online Egg Hunt opens on 03 March 08 and runs until 16 March 08 11.59 GMT
2.3 The 'Great Outdoors' Egg Hunt opens on 08 March 08 and closes on 15 March 08 11.59 GMT
2.4 Eggs will be randomly hidden in packs from 03 March 08 until 14 March 08. The eggs found in packs can be entered on moo.com/egghunt until 14 April 08 11/59 GMT
2.5 Eggs hidden online are only valid once they have been posted about on the MOO blog with an accompanying time code. These eggs are valid for 24 hours. Eggs found before or after this time are not considered valid and any entries relating to the egg will not be counted.
2.6 Eggs hidden in the 'Great Outdoors' are valid as soon as they appear on our MOO map in our Flickr Egg Hunt group. These eggs are all valid until 16 March 08. Eggs found in the 'Great Outdoors' before or after this time are not considered valid and any entries relating to the egg will not be counted.
3. Prizes and winners
3.1 Where applicable, all prizes other than the grand prize will be marked with a clear 'use by' date. After this date the prizes will not be valid and will not be able to be claimed or used and no refund/replacement will be offered.
3.1.1 Prizes of MOO products freebies and discounts will all be redeemable until 31 May 08
3.2 All winners will be notified directly via email. The first successful finder and prize-winner for each egg will also be posted on the blog. The winner of the grand prize will be announced on Friday 21 April 08 on the MOO blog.
3.3 All prizes distributed to winners are generated randomly, from the prize-pool below, assuming no other rules above have been broken.
3.4 There is no monetary value to these prizes and they cannot be exchanged, refunded or passed on to someone else.
3.5 There are a maximum and potential 3648 prizes to be won, each of which is listed below;

3.6 If for any reason MOO is unable to fulfil the Grand Prize as outlined, MOO will offer the winner an alternative prize/reward of equal value (US$1,000)
4. Valid Entries
4.1 The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18. Unfortunately, residents of countries where this type of contest is not legal will not be permitted to take part (you know who you are. You could still hunt for the thrill of it just don't spoil the fun for others. MOO wants everyone to be able to play!) Sadly, employees of MOO, our partners and egg-hiders for the competition, and the immediate families of those people are not eligible to win a prize.
4.2 You may claim a maximum of 5 eggs. Any more than this will not trigger a possible win or an entry into the grand prize draw... And we want as many people as possible to have a chance to win! However, if you want to search for more eggs – go for it! It just means only your first 5 entries are valid.
4.3 We can only accept entries into the Egg Hunt submitted via www.moo.com/egghunt. As such, you will need access to a computer with a connection to the internet, and you will need to complete the information required as described in clause 1.3
4.4 Multiple entries made fraudulently, and any attempts to 'game' the system will be disqualified. We'll also be really annoyed. We might even shout – a lot. You wouldn't like an angry MOO. Seriously.
4.5 Any entries that cannot be submitted for technical reasons either on the part of the entrant or MOO, will not be counted and no correspondence will be entered into.
MOO's rights
5.1 MOO reserves the right to remove from any of it's online groups (e.g. Flickr, Bebo, Facebook) any content relating to the Egg Hunt that it considers offensive, indecent, or objectionable, or that violates copyright as well as the site's community guidelines (e.g. Flickr guidelines, Facebook guidelines )
5.2 MOO reserves the right to remove any content directing others to a hidden egg online or in the 'Great Outdoors'.
5.3 MOO's decision is final in every situation including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.5 MOO reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control e.g. technical issues.
6. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
7. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The promoter of this competition is Moo Print Ltd. (MOO) Of 6 Bakers Yard, Bakers Row, London, EC1R 3DD
8. We will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your permission except for the purposes of running the competition you have entered. As we said, we hate it when people do it to us, so we'd never do it to you. (We're far too nice.)
