What are MOO Holiday Cards?
MOO Holiday Cards are landscape or portrait folded cards, made with your own photography or designs. You can purchase pack of 25 cards, they come with crisp, white envelopes.

When you make your cards, you'll be able to use MOO's online tools to select a template for the front of the card and upload your photography or design onto it. You can then print a special message with up to three lines of text on the front of each card. The cards can also have a special message inside. Each template has been selected with fonts and colours to make the best of your photography. You can easily mix landscape or portrait cards in a pack.

If you want your Holiday Cards to have one full image on the front, you can do this instead of selecting a template. You can then choose from a variety of fonts and colours to personalise the insides of your cards.

All packs of Holiday Cards can have a logo or a photograph uploaded to the back with three lines of text to give your cards a professionally designed look.

How big are the cards, and what are they made of?
Holiday Cards measure 105mm x 148mm when folded (that's 4.1" x 5.8" if you're from across the pond). They are printed on similar paper to MiniCards - satisfyingly heavy with a nice, smooth satin finish. They're unlaminated inside, ready for you to write a personal message.

The paper is 10% recycled post-consumer fibre, and acid and Elemental Chlorine free.

Can I upload an image or logo to my card? Does it cost extra?
Yes, you can upload a photo or logo to the back of your cards. In addition, you can personalise with up to 3 lines of text. There are no additional costs to upload a logo.
How are MOO Holiday Cards printed?
Holiday Cards are printed on digital printing presses which use a 4 colour ink process. Please note, we're unable to offer 'special colours' at this time.
What if I don't want white envelopes and I want something a bit more fancy?
The Holiday Cards come standard with white envelopes. However, if you like you can upgrade your order to choose from either Recycled Red, Recycled Brown, Metalic Gold or Silver cards. For prices, head over to 'paying for your stuff FAQ'.
How much do the cards cost?
To see prices for a single pack, or for bulk discounts, head over to the 'paying for your stuff FAQ'.
How much is shipping - and how long will it take?
For the cost of shipping a single order - or a bulk delivery - and to find out how long your order will take, please see the delivery FAQ.
Can I get my cards printed in other languages and character sets?
If you choose the full image upload you have more control over the fonts used for the inside of your cards. We've tried to choose fonts with as many characters as possible. All Western character sets should be supported in the 'fancier' fonts, and you'll find that the option called 'Modern' supports all the given character sets in the Unicode Specifications. That means everything from the full European set to African, Indic and Asian scripts.

Try a few different fonts out to check your characters are fully supported, and that your message will be printed in a font you really like!

However, if you choose cards using one of our templates we have fixed the fonts to each template. In that case as well it may be worth trying a few different templates to check that your characters are supported.

What if I don't want a charity message on the back of my cards?
The message is easy to remove. You can uncheck the "show the donation text" box while customising the back of your cards.
Which way up are the cards? Will the text on the inside work as landscape or portrait?
Once you've selected the images you'd like on your Holiday Cards, you can use our online tool to crop and rotate them. This means you can choose portrait or landscape images - whatever takes your fancy. Our clever software will automatically rotate the text to read the right way up for the card layout.
Why can't I have more choice of font, colour and type with the templates?
Our designers have specially selected fonts and colours which suit the templates and don't distract from your photography or design. In doing this, you'll find it really hard to make a card which doesn't look great. However, if you really want more control on the fonts and colours, why not choose the full upload option. Then you can use whatever fonts you have availabe for your photos or images and use Photoshop or something similar to create the cards you like.
Does MOO retain any rights to the photos I uploaded for printing?
Absolutely not. Your images remain your copyright, they belong to you, not MOO.

We may store them for a period of time, to facilitate re-ordering, but only you will be able to re-order the images you upload.

I've got my photos stored on a photosharing site. My friends use social networks for theirs - can we get our photos from there?
MOO partners with Flickr, so you can upload your photos from your account with them. If you don't have a Flickr account, becasue of the size and quality of the image required you should upload your photos directly to MOO.
Do you sell stamps with the Holiday Cards?
Afraid not. We would love to, but we ship globally - over 180 countries so far - and that's a lot of countries with a lot of stamps for us to stock. Sorry about that.
Can you address and send out my Holiday Cards for me?
Unfortunately, not. Holiday Cards take less than 5 minutes to write and are so much better when they're personally signed. We sent out a survey before we launched Holiday Cards and only a tiny percentage of people wanted this service. Maybe we'll offer this service in the future, if more people absolutely insist, but for now, we're all about nice, personal messages. Bring back pens!
