More about the Mosaic Frame, by MOO

The Mosaic Frame has been designed in-house, by MOO's own product designer, Paul Thorogood. Seeing the way so many people were framing their MiniCards - either to hang on their own walls, or to give as a gift - inspired him to invent a solution easier than trying to line the cards up yourself, and smarter than struggling to glue them in place.

Consisting of a white acrylic back, and transparent acrylic front, the middle section (where the magic happens), is a single outer frame and 20 frame pieces - all made of very thick, white card.

One of the great things about MiniCards is the fact that every single one in the pack can be different - and we're very excited to say that every single frame can be different too! The clever design means you can frame the cards in either portrait or landscape format - or, a mix of the two. You can lay the cards out, move them around and find a design that works best for you - and don't worry, it's pretty impossible to make a layout that doesn't look good. (We did try).

How it all works
To begin, decide which way up you'd like your frame to hang. Portrait, landscape, tall, wide - you decide! Make sure the hanging-hooks are in the right position (at the top of the frame, in the direction you'd like it to hang) and remove the screws and clear acrylic top sheet.

Next, move the frame pieces around until you find the perfect arrangement to suit your MiniCards. There's a huge variety of combinations, so take your time and explore a few different options. When you're happy with the layout, push the cards into the frames, and carefully replace the clear top sheet and screws. (Some people find it helps to wipe the transparent sheet with an anti-static cloth, to avoid any dust).

The final result can be hung on the wall, or will stand nicely on a shelf. Not too big, it means you can pick the very best of your cards, keeping the rest to hand out to friends who admire your handy-work. The huge number of framing combinations means that when you get new cards, you can switch your frame to a brand new layout!
