Senior Physical Product Manager

Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Physical Product Manager to join our Product team to focus on the development of the physical product (print products, accessories) and who will have a real balance between being commercially savvy and having a keen eye for beautiful design.

Based on market knowledge, research and a devotion to the MOO customer, the Product team is responsible for the strategy, development and performance of MOO’s industry leading product portfolio and online shopping experience.

The main objective for the Physical Product Manager will be to create truly remarkable products (print products, accessories), which our customers will love! Furthermore, you will help define the vision for physical products, developing a deep insight into what our customers will want and need.

The Physical Product Manager will work closely with the Head of Product and will ideally demonstrate:

  • a passion for creating premium print products and accessories;
  • a confident grasp of the evolving design and self-customised products market;
  • ability to focus on existing product needs while keeping an eye on future design trends and opportunities for innovation;
  • the ability to own the product development process from business need through to launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Head of Product to translate business strategies into product strategies, partnerships and initiatives that deliver against our core customer wants and needs;
  • Responsible for the evolution and revolution of our products to ensure MOO are at the cutting edge;
  • Responsible for developing a deep insight into what our customers want and recommend new products or enhancements to existing products based on customer data and market trends;
  • Involved in the design process from the product initiation through to launch and working very closely with the Product Designer on the development of all new physical products (print products and accessories);
  • Lead major new product initiatives through the entire product development lifecycle (concept, business case requirement definition, product design, development, launch, measurement and iteration);
  • Manage partner relationships, identifying necessary and/or desirable third-party features and managing partnership integration;
  • Producing weekly status reports for the relevant teams and management team.

About You

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Background in strategic planning from a product design agency, consumer product innovation or brand management;
  • Proven ability of taking a product concept through all states of definition and development through to launch;
  • Must have an excellent balance between being commercially savvy and possess a keen eye for beautiful design.

Senior Online Product Manager

Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Online Product Manager to join our Product team to focus on the development of a premium shopping experience.

Based on market knowledge, research and a devotion to the MOO customer, the Product team is responsible for the strategy, development and performance of MOO’s industry leading product portfolio and online shopping experience.

You will be responsible for developing a premium online shopping experience to match our physical products. The Product Manager will own the development of the online store, shopping and payments experience for the MOO customer.

The Senior Product Manager will work closely with the Head of Product and will ideally demonstrate:

  • A passion for creating remarkable online experience;
  • A deep understanding of customer wants and needs;
  • A confident grasp of ecommerce and up to date on evolving web trends;
  • Ability to focus on existing product needs while keeping an eye on future trends and opportunities for innovations;
  • The ability to own the product development process from business need through to launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Head of Product to translate business strategies into online store strategies, partnerships and initiatives that deliver against our core customer wants and needs;
  • Responsible for site conversion and development of an award winning online store;
  • Responsible for developing a premium shopping experience for MOO’s customers;
  • Ensure the consumers voice is represented through all online store initiatives;
  • Effectively collaborate with Technical, Marketing, UX, Design and Operations teams to successfully drive projects through to completion;
  • Manage partner relationships, identifying necessary and/or desirable third-party features and managing partnership integration;
  • Management and execution of quarterly roadmap;
  • Producing weekly status reports for the relevant teams and management team.

About You

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Proven experience in Product Management (concept through to launch) preferably from an ecommerce background;
  • Proven ability of taking a product concept through all states of definition and development through to launch;
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology in an online environment;
  • Must come from an online background.

Junior Graphic/Web Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a self-motivated Junior Graphic/Web Designer to join our Creative team based in Old Street, London.

As part of a strong, creative team you’ll be reporting to the Creative Director, and working very closely with other members of the design team.

A fun and hard-working environment, everything is designed with the customer in mind. Usability is at the forefront, but never at the expense of, great visual design.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare images: re-touch images to a high quality standard and re-size images for website, newsletter, blog, and PR;
  • Check “Ready Made” images;
  • Create promotional materials for trade shows;
  • Create and update designs for stands and backdrops;
  • Pull together simple pages for moo.com based on existing templates and content;
  • Create new templates for “Ready Made”;
  • Work with more senior members of the team on urgent design requirements and on longer term projects.

About You

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field and/or a thorough understanding of graphic design and theory;
  • 1 years experience working in graphic/web design and the ability to re-touch supplied artwork and create new artwork;
  • Proven experience in photoshop, indesign and illustrator;
  • Experience in working as part of a team and delivering projects in a collaborative, timely manner.

Senior Software Developer

Overview

MOO are looking for a highly experienced and exceptional Senior Software Developer to join the Development team based in Old Street, London.

MOO is built on Debian running Apache, PHP and MySQL with a large helping of ActionScript.

You will work with the lead architect to define our future software strategy, lead on development initiatives and mentor junior members of the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write code that will transform the capability of our products – this is very much a hands on role for a very senior developer, exceptional coder;
  • Work with the application architect and development manager to define software solutions;
  • Lead development initiatives on both the public facing website and the back end systems;
  • Keep abreast of the changes in the technology landscape;
  • Assist and mentor other members of the team on best practices, tools and techniques;

About You

Experience & Attributes required:

  • At least 5 years + experience in software development experience using Agile methodology and considered a world-class developer;
  • Proven ability to architect solutions to complex problems;
  • Solid experience of two of the following languages: PHP, Perl, Shell scripting, Python, Java, C, C++;
  • Solid experience of: MySQL, XML, XSD, XSLT, HTTP;
  • Experience in development for UNIX and Linux platforms;
  • Must have experience in agile software development practices, preferably hands on experience of SCRUM.

Marketing Manager

Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager to join our US based marketing team in Providence, Rhode Island.

The US Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering MOO’s US marketing strategy.

Responsible for conception, execution and measurement of online and offline customer acquisition marketing programs in North America.

You will also be instrumental in building successful and creative partnerships, maximising MOO’s exposure at targeted events, working closely with relevant agencies and vendors as well as the UK marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Form new creative partnerships with targeted partners and businesses that are complimentary to the US strategy;
  • Develop creative partnerships with existing partners;
  • Provide all partners with necessary and appropriate levels of reporting and account management;
  • Monitor results of all marketing programs and analyse performance to find opportunities for improvement;
  • Work with the UK on development and subsequent localisation of online and offline marketing campaigns;
  • Contribute and input into localisation efforts across all communications – e.g. newsletters, social media, and other creative assets;
  • Responsible for managing US marketing budget;
  • Management of the US based marketing team.

About You

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • 5 – 7 years marketing experience preferably from both a big agency and in-house background;
  • Proven experience and ability in developing strong business relationships with partners;
  • Proven experience in delivering successful online and offline marketing campaigns;
  • Experience in managing key marketing vendors such as advertising or media agencies;
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets;
  • Experience from a technology, digital media or e-commerce background.
