It's the MOOsLETTER!
It's our birthday week!

MOO birthday It's official. MOO is actually, really three years old now. In celebration, we're having a birthday month. There's a party tomorrow night, and more birthday discounts planned for the rest of the month.

Our cryptic quiz continues on the blog, with three prizes a day for the brainiest of you all. We've given away 45 prizes so far this month, ranging from a subscription to Wired, to a unique DNA portrait!

Keep an eye on MOO to see the latest discounts (and special ones on the weekend) as they go live, or follow us over on Twitter.

MOO makes The Top 100 Tech Media

We were very excited to be picked as number five, in UK Newspaper The Guardian's Top 100 Tech Media companies. Picked for their creativity and innovation the list shows the UK tech industry is still buzzing, and we're rather proud to be in such good company.

Special birthday donation for charity:water

Charity: Water cards As you may know, we're donating $22 (approximately £14/€15) to charity: water for every pack of charity:water greeting cards sold.

But tomorrow, on day of the party, we've decided to go one step further. We're donating $3 from every paid order to charity: water, no matter what you buy.

Help us give money to a good cause - and get yourself some nice new products at the same time!

Getting personal with your Business Cards

Business Cards It's always interesting to see what other people put on their Business Cards. Should you go elegant and understated with a logo, or show off your product range? Maybe a photographic portfolio or a chance to show off your music tastes..?
Or maybe, like the PR agency Ruder Finn, you make cards to get a real conversation started. We spoke to them recently about their Business Cards and the great reactions they've received as they've been handing them out. Read the full interview on our blog.

Three years, compliments and a kiss!

In our last newsletter we asked you to fill out a little survey, about MiniCards and changes that have happened over the last three years. We got lots of responses - even some that made us a little teary. We'll be doing a longer blog post on them soon. For now, we thought we'd share some of the more unexpected responses:

1% 1% thought you'd really put your MiniCards to the test - you gave your first card to a potential date. 23.3% took an easier route, testing them out on either a family member or a friend.

1 pie 1 of you gave 'Pie' as the best response ever received on handing out a Minicard... We've tried this in the office - doesn't always work.

2% 2% of you have switched from a Mac to a PC in the last 3 years, which as Mac geeks, we thought was interesting. 15.7% switched the other way.

43.8% 43.8% said that a new career move, (either in work or education) has been the biggest life change in the last three years.

1 kiss 1 of you gave 'A Kiss' as the best response ever received on handing out a Minicard... We're too scared to try this in the office, but we still all chimed 'awww!' on reading this.

47.8% 47.8% love your job - saying you bought MiniCards for business and pleasure - and that they were one and the same thing. Yay!

Rounding up

Rounded Corners A little while ago we mentioned the Business Cards of Jack Hooker, a graphic designer who uses MOO.
With a cool playing-card design, Jack rounded the corners of his cards with a 'corner cutter'. We’re still investigating automated rounded cornered cards, but in the meantime, we've had a lot of requests for corner cutters. If you'd like to get one too, they're available from DICK BLICK in the USA and FRED ALDOUS in the UK.

And that's all for now,

Have a great week,
The 3 years old MOO Crew

PS. If you want to catch up with MOO between newsletters, you can find us on the blog, Facebook, Flickr and Twitter!

We’ve also noticed that because we give discounts (which sometimes talk about money!) in our newsletter, some email spam filters think we are evil. We'd like to assure you we are not. To make sure you receive your newsletters without any problems each month, please add us to your list of ‘safe senders’ - or your 'white list'!

PPS. We hope you've received this newsletter because you signed up for it on moo.com. If you didn't sign up or you need to unsubscribe, you can unsubscribe here. We're sorry to see you go, though.
